Benign Skin lesions

Benign skin lesions can negatively impact our self confidence and self esteem.

MAESKN Aesthetics - Benign Skin Lesions

Overview

They are typically regarded as cosmetic via medical opinions, therefore leaving you to find safe methods of removal from an aesthetic point of view.

Skin lesions we can treat:-

  • Cherry angiomas/ Campbell De Morgan (Cherry spots)

Small dilated blood vessels. They appear as fine red, purple or pink lines on the skin

  • Benign Seborrheic keratosis

A non-cancerous skin growth that occurs when keratinocytes grow rapidly. They can appear as single growth or as a cluster. They are usually slightly raised and rough in texture. Seborrheic keratosis can appear brown, black or light tan in colour.

Treatments for Benign Skin Lesions

At MAESKN Aesthetics, we only treat benign lesions once they have been confirmed as non-cancerous by a GP or dermatologist. A written note or confirmation is required before any treatment can proceed.

MAESKN Aesthetics - Benign Skin Lesions

Once cleared by a medical professional, we offer advanced laser treatment options to safely and effectively remove suitable benign lesions:

  • Excel V+ Laser – Targets vascular and pigmented lesions with precision and minimal downtime.
  • Dermastat – A precise laser handpiece used for accurate lesion removal in smaller, more defined areas.

Our Initial skin consultation is crucial to assess your skin, review the medical clearance, and determine if you are a suitable candidate for lesion removal using our technology. This service is only bookable in clinic after a consultation.
