Skin boosters primarily focus on improving hydration, in comparison to Biostimulators which concentrate on skin quality. Biostimulators such as Sunekos 200 & 1200 combine hyaluronic acid with amino acids to support skin quality and collagen and elastin production. Their benefits overlap, so we recommend the most suitable option based on your skin rather than the treatment name alone.

Although many contain hyaluronic acid, their purpose is different. These treatments focus on skin quality rather than adding facial volume or contouring features. The aim is fresher, smoother, more hydrated-looking skin with subtle, natural-looking results.

Profhilo is a pure non crosslinked hyaluronic acid injectable used to improve hydration in the skin, particularly where reduced elasticity is a concern. Its formulation and injection technique differ from other skin boosters. We will explain whether Profhilo or a more targeted treatment is better suited to your goals.

However, dark circles can have several causes, including pigmentation, visible vessels and hollowing, so an assessment is essential. Not every product is suitable for use around the eyes, and treatment will not correct every cause of dark circles.

Results develop gradually over the weeks following treatment and may build throughout a course. How quickly you notice a change, and how long it lasts, varies with the product, your skin and individual response. These treatments are not permanent, and maintenance may be recommended.

You may feel brief stinging or discomfort during the injections. Numbing cream may be offered where appropriate. Temporary bumps, redness, tenderness, swelling and bruising can occur.
