Scarring is a natural part of the skin’s healing process following injury, surgery, acne, or inflammation.

The appearance of a scar can vary based on skin type, the depth of the wound, and how the skin heals. In some cases, scarring may also be accompanied by post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or redness, especially in deeper skin tones.

Common types of scars include:

Hypertrophic scars – Raised, firm scars that stay within the boundary of the original wound.
Keloid scars – Thick, raised scars that grow beyond the original wound site; more common in darker skin tones.(Please note, we do not treat keloid scars at Maeskn Aesthetics.)
Atrophic scars – Depressed or pitted scars, often resulting from acne or chickenpox.

Although scars can be permanent the appearance of scarring can be improved.

I suffer with redness and dry skin and am currently doing their rosacea tier one programme . I’ve seen a big difference in my redness so far so looking forward to continuing my journey.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am delighted with the result of the laser treatment that I had for some unsightly dark patches on my face. I had pretty much accepted that this was just a part of getting older and persuing a hobby that meant being outside in all weathers.
The consultation process was thorough and the pricing was reasonable.
The procedure was not painful - I only experienced just the very slightest of twinges. The side effects were minimal.
My face is now glowing and rejuvenated and needless to say I don't know why I didn't do it sooner.
