Hydrafacial Vs Hydrofacial: The difference explained

Hydrofacial is a 7-step facial that utilizes a vortex fusion delivery system to deeply cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate the skin. The Hydrofacial treatment is also known as Hydr02 facial. The facial infuses the skin with hydrating serums whilst simultaneously lifting away dead & dry skin cells with its gentle microdermabrasion.

The seven steps are apart of the Hydrofacial platinum. The Hydrofacial platinum starts with the hydro-peel, the microdermabrasion and extraction step. The Hydro-peel is the initial step that gently exfoliates the skin and clears congested pores.

Step 2 is a deeper exfoliation that buffs away the skin whilst pushing active ingredients such as retinol and kojic acid into the skin to create a ‘Bohr effect’ allowing oxygen to be drawn into the skin to bring life back to the skin’. Then comes oxygen therapy, oxygenation spray maximizes product absorption and skin cell metabolism; revives dull skin complexions.

We then move onto steps 4 & 5 Ion technology and radio frequency. The anti-aging steps.  Electro ion technology is best for addressing jowling and brow lifting, and radio frequency is great for skin tightening.

Step 6 is the main character of this facial, hydration. Utilsing ultrasound technology for is sixth step, product such as a moisture mask is deeply infused into the skin with the aid of the ultrasound technology.

For the seventh and final step we have fire & ice. Fire warms the skin to further intensify the infusion of products into the skin. Ice technology cools the skin to tighten the skin and seals infused products into the skin, locking in the hydration and moisture from the Hydrofacial treatment into the skin.
